Any employee may request attendance. Approval depends on the event’s relevance, available budget, and workload considerations. Typically, subject matter experts and employees responsible for business development will receive approval to attend conferences.
At least three months before the end of the fiscal year preceding the event, to allow for budget planning. Such a request must include:
The event name, date, and location
A brief explanation of how the event aligns with their work
Estimated costs (registration, travel, lodging, etc.)
Any sessions or certifications being pursued
Requests may still be submitted, but approval will depend on available funds and scheduling. Approval is unlikely and should not be expected outside the normal request and budget cycle.
