By phone: Call 1-888-887-4114 (or the number listed on your UHC member ID card) to speak confidentially with an EAP representative.
Online: Log in to the UHC EAP website or member portal to explore articles, webinars, self-help tools, and to schedule services.
An EAP representative will help determine the best support for your needs, which may include:
Short-term counseling: Limited sessions with a licensed counselor, available in person, by phone, or via secure video.
Referrals: Connections to in-network providers for long-term or specialized care.
Online resources: Access self-guided programs for stress management, personal growth, resilience, financial guidance, legal information, and work-life balance.
Crisis support: Immediate assistance for urgent mental health situations, available 24/7.
Employees can schedule appointments directly through the EAP portal or by phone. Representatives will guide you through next steps and explain what to expect.
If long-term treatment or specialized care is recommended, the EAP may connect you with in-network providers. Standard insurance costs may apply for services outside the EAP.
