New hires have 15 days from their eligibility date to enroll in benefits.
Steps to enroll:
Check your email from Rippling for login instructions.
Log in to the Rippling Benefits Portal.
Review available plans (medical, dental, vision).
Select your plan and add dependents if applicable.
Submit your elections within 15 days of eligibility.
⚠️ If you do not enroll within 15 days, you must wait until the next Open Enrollment unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE).

Open Enrollment occurs every January. Changes made during Open Enrollment take effect on February 1, 2026.
During Open Enrollment, you can:
Enroll in benefits
Change medical plans
Add or remove dependents
Waive coverage
Steps to complete Open Enrollment:
Log in to Rippling Benefits Portal during Open Enrollment.
Review your current coverage and plan options.
Make any changes or selections.
Submit your elections before the Open Enrollment deadline (January 16, 2026).
Benefit changes outside of initial enrollment or Open Enrollment are only allowed if you experience a QLE.
Common Qualifying Life Events include:
Marriage or divorce
Birth or adoption of a child
A dependent child reaching age 26
Change in child custody
Loss of coverage under a spouse’s or domestic partner’s plan
Moving to a different state
Steps to update benefits after a QLE:
Notify HR of your Qualifying Life Event.
Log in to Rippling Benefits Portal.
Submit your benefit changes within 30 days of the event.
Upload any required documentation.
⚠️ Failure to submit changes within 30 days may require waiting until the next Open Enrollment.

To opt out of medical, dental, or vision coverage, you must actively waive coverage in Rippling.
Steps to waive coverage:
Log in to Rippling Benefits Portal.
Select “Waive Coverage” for the plan(s) you do not want.
Submit before the deadline.
When waivers are allowed:
Initial eligibility (new hire)
Open Enrollment
Qualifying Life Event window

Access Your HSA Portal:
Log in to your Rippling Benefits Portal.
In Overview > Current Benefits, scroll to your HSA and click the arrow to expand.
Click Log in to your HSA account to open your HSA portal.
Key Actions in Your HSA Portal:
View Contributions & Transactions: Track deposits, spending, and investment performance.
Submit Claims: Request reimbursement for eligible medical expenses.
Pay Bills: Pay providers or merchants directly from your HSA funds.
Manage Investments: Choose self-managed or managed investment options, with risk levels (Moderate, High, Low).
Access Tax Forms & Account Details: View HSA account and routing numbers, and download tax documents.
