JBPro offers comprehensive medical insurance through UnitedHealthcare, giving employees access to a large nationwide provider network and flexible plan options. For 2026, employees may choose from two PPO plans or a new HSA-compatible High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
JBPro is committed to supporting employees’ health and well-being by covering 75% of the employees premium, regardless of which medical plan you choose. Employees may elect to cover eligible dependents at their own cost.
All medical plan enrollment, changes, and payroll deductions are managed through the Rippling Benefits Portal.
Who Is Eligible
All regular U.S. full-time employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week are eligible to enroll in JBPro benefits.
New hires must submit benefit elections within 15 days of becoming eligible
Enrollment is completed through the Rippling Benefits Portal
Eligibility Dependents
You may elect coverage for the following qualified dependents:
Your spouse or domestic partner
Dependent children up to age 26 (married or unmarried)
When Coverage Begins
Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire
Example: If you are hired on March 10, coverage begins April 1
When Coverage Ends
Coverage ends on the last day of the month in which employment ends
Depending on the circumstances of your termination, you may be eligible to continue coverage through COBRA
COBRA Continuation Coverage
Administered through Rippling
COBRA election materials will be mailed within 30 days of coverage ending
Employees are responsible for the full cost of COBRA premiums

Initial Enrollment
New hires have 15 days from their eligibility date to enroll
If enrollment is not completed within this window, you must wait until the next Open Enrollment unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE)
Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment occurs annually in January
Changes made during Open Enrollment take effect on February 1, 2026
During Open Enrollment, you may:
Enroll in benefits
Change medical plans
Add or remove dependents
Waive coverage
Making Changes During the Plan Year (QLE)
Outside of initial enrollment and Open Enrollment, benefit changes are not permitted unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE).
Employees are responsible for notifying HR and submitting changes in Rippling within 30 days of the qualifying event.
Common Qualifying Life Events include:
Marriage or divorce
Birth or adoption of a child
A dependent child reaching age 26
Change in child custody
Loss of coverage under a spouse’s or domestic partner’s plan
Moving to a different state
Failure to submit changes within 30 days of the event may result in waiting until the next Open Enrollment period.

Waiving Coverage
To opt out of medical, dental, or vision coverage, you must actively waive coverage in Rippling
Benefits do not automatically enroll or waive

JBPro offers three UnitedHealthcare medical plans, all available to U.S.-based employees nationwide.
UHC PPO Plans (Base & Buy-up Options)

PPO EH-I4 – $2,000 deductible
PPO EH-DP – $3,000 deductible
These plans are ideal for employees who want:

Flexibility to see specialists without referrals
Key features of UHC PPO plans:
No primary care physician (PCP) or referrals required
Access to in-network and out-of-network providers
Preventive care covered at no cost when using in-network providers

Higher monthly premiums compared to the HDHP plan
The $2,000 deductible plan offers lower out-of-pocket costs when care is needed but comes with higher monthly premiums.
The $3,000 deductible plan has slightly lower premiums and higher cost-sharing.
UHC HDHP (HSA-Compatible) Plan
Plan Code: EH-H – Deductible: $5,000 (individual)
This plan is designed for employees who want lower monthly premiums and the ability to save for healthcare expenses using a Health Savings Account (HSA).

Lower monthly premiums compared to PPO plans
Higher deductible before most services are covered
Preventive care covered at no cost in-network
After meeting the deductible, you pay coinsurance until reaching the out-of-pocket maximum
Eligible to open and fund a Health Savings Account (HSA)

No employer HSA contribution
Contributions are pre-tax
Funds are employee-owned and roll over year to year
